I was thinking of going back into the military?

I already did my 8 years in service (6 active and 2inactive) my time was up January that just past. The last time I actually was at my unit was like 2 years ago. I wanted to think about going back only for a couple of years but I heard that when you reenlist now its for indefinite. I also have two small children, boys (1 year old and a 3 going on 40! lol) I really wanted to get stationed in Atlanta. Does anyone have any info for me? I really need to know if I want to go back in and would it be wise for me. 1 more thing I would be going down there alone just me and my boys. Thanks!
