Question for women please?

Ok, so I need to know something. Is it really selfish for me, a 29 y/o guy, no kids, and never married, to REFUSE to date and/or marry a single mother? Sadly, the only single women in the socially/culturally suffocating town of Colorado Springs, Colorado are single mothers. It is for that reason that I am moving away from this place this upcoming summer. Anyway, it just seems extremely unfair that I have to be stuck with only single mothers since I didn't get to meet my significant other in college like most other men do back home in the southeast. Instead, I got screwed by my apathetic/uncaring parents and had to join the Marine Corps, got stationed in a town in NC with ZERO single women, and where the women in surrounding cities and towns hate Marines. Not only that, but I have learned that my five years in the Marine Corps was nothing but a complete waste of my time because my military time holds ZERO weight out here in the real world. In other words, no civilian employer gives two sh*ts if you were in the military or not. They only want to know if you possess a college degree or not. I personally think that EVERYBODY should be required to serve a minimum number of years in the military so that EVERYBODY shares the burden and not just us poor folks, but that's another story and isn't really related to my question. Seriously, with all due respect, please do NOT thank me in response to this question because, as you can see, formerly being in the Marines has HURT and HINDERED my ability to find a mate and to find a decent living wage job. Hence the reason that I still have NOT been able to date and marry by the age of 29.
