I went to church once, and I found that they only paid attention to the parts of the Bible that they wanted to?

Why should I do what an ancient book tells me to do if it says things about slaves having to be good to their masters and other horrible things like that? It seems like all the Christians I know are all just the most gullible and average-IQ people in my school anyway...
