Points on a provisional driving licence?

hiya,am looking for some help please. My partner has a provisional licence and CBT , he is a motorbike courier, he has had his licence less than 2 years. About 2 months ago he got pulled for speeding and was issued with points etc, yesterday he thinks he may have been flashed by a speed camera, he said he saw the lines and slowed down and thought he was within the limit but is scared he has been flashed. If he did get flashed what does this mean for his licence?? Will he get disqualified ?? And how long for ?? Driving is obviously my partners job and i am 5 1/2 months pregnant so we need to know what it would mean for his job?? (sensible answers please) thank u for any help in advance :)
