What do you think of models?

I know this is a bit of weird question, but I'm just interested. Alot of poeple are always telling me that I should try to become a model. I'm tall and skinny (about 180cm / 60kg) and according to them i'm pretty (although I dont think im anything too special). I usually dont care about what poeple think of me, but I would hate to be seen as a 'model'. I wouldnt want poeple to think that I thought I was really hot and up myself or anything. I'm what you might call a "punk rock" chick I guess, meaning I'm very opinionated and can be judgmental about things that seem frivoulous. Im 22, have a uni degree, am intelligent and pursue many creative endeavours. I would hate to be seen as a "coat hanger", but does the possibilty of making some money doing runway or something outweigh this? So I guess basically my question is... if you meet a girl that says shes a model, would you just see her as a dumb fashion-oriented person that cant do anything worthwhile besides walk up and down a cat walk?
