2 days late, negative hpt at 14dpo but having obvious PG symptoms. Should I test again?

Hi a friend of mine recently discovered she is pregnant she was 2 weeks late for her period did a test came back negative, so she went to the docs and asked to check for a infection she explained about her period being late and 2 days later doc called to say she was indeed pregnant. She is 8 weeks now found out when she was 6 weeks good luck and baby dust to all us TTC xx Your symptoms do sound promising xx
