Chest cold or bronchitis?

I started to feel not well on Thursday after my boyfriend had a cold and now Tuesday I'm still sick and I'm feeling a little better meaning, no fever (only had for a night) and a bunch of snot and phlegm are starting to escape. I have been drinking neo citran at night to help me sleep and have been taking Cold Buster http://www.coldbuster.ca/. Also drinking lots of liquids and eating just to keep up my strength. But when I cough it burns my chest and when I put my hand on my chest it sounds like its coming from my lungs. My boyfriend put is ear to my chest and asked me to breath in and out he said he did hear anything, I told him I'm scared it's bronchitis. he said with that I wouldn't be getting better and my green or dark phlegm, and mine is light yellow, earlier in the sickness it was dark yellow. Any Ideas or Thoughts?
